Category 6, 6a & 7
Any structured network cabling system must be installed & fully tested to the intended standard before it can be classed as category 6, 6a or 7. In a similar way you could not be described as a qualified driver without passing the required test. Enterprise Cabling Services maintain and invest in the highest specification test equipment, which provides accurate and detailed reports for every installation.
We will always offer a free site survey and discuss your ideas and identify your requirements. A written quotation will then be provided.
Fibre Optics
With the improvements in core alignment fusion splicing and pre-terminated fibre pig tails, most of our installations involve the splicing of pre-terminated pig tails onto main cable runs with up to 96 terminations within a 1U patch Panel. We still perform the direct termination of fibres where this is not possible. Again, we invest in the highest specification test equipment, which provides accurate and detailed reports for every installation.

Data Centres
We install to the required standards and deliver designs that are cost effective, manageable, and future proof. We take care of all in-rack patching and pride ourselves on the quality of the finished solution – for both optimisation and aesthetics. Due to client confidentiality, many of our clients prefer to remain anonymous but here are some pictures from Oxford University Press where we completed more than 2500 fibre terminations & 300 Category 6A Links.

Moves & Changes
Enterprise Cabling Services also perform a de-commissioning and re-commissioning service for all IT equipment within an office environment, for the relocation and restructuring of staff. This service can be arranged and completed in a confidential manner if required. All network devices are also tested for connectivity to the main office network, again using the highest specification test equipment. An after care service can be made available for the inevitable amendments.

Installed and commisioned per floor network cabinets to replace one large one that was servicing the entire building.

Enterprise Cabling Services has completed a number of projects for us, not least was our new flagship centre, the Dr John Guy building. This project spanned over 18 months with 3 major phases including the cabling of temporary accommodation, re-routing a number of fibre optic cables as well as the final installation of 600 network points within the new building.
